Stephens International Public School Celebrates Diwali

Stephens International Public School, Jammu today celebrated Diwali, ‘the festival of lights’, with immense ardor and ardency. The whole school wore a festive look with lights adorning the corridors and the assembly stage. The enthralling Rangolis prepared by students rendered a perfect setting for the celebrations. Peace House stood first in the Rangoli Competition.
The programme started with an enchanting skit depicting the important phases of Lord Rama’s life. After that, the students talked about the significance of the festival laying emphasis on eco-friendly Diwali.
The Arti was performed by Director Ms Satvinder Saini, Vice Chairman S. Amarjit Singh and Principal Mr. Ram Prakash Sharma. The Principal, during his speech, stressed upon the teachings of the Ramayana and encouraged the students to imbibe them in their own lives.
Mrs. Satvinder Saini, Director SIPS appreciated the efforts of the staff and the students and wished them all a happy and prosperous Diwali.
The Chairman of the school Dr. Kamal Saini, IGP (Retd.) extended his warmest greetings to all.
