GANDHI JAYANTI CELEBRATED AT SIPS

The 150th birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi was commemorated in the premises of Stephens International Public School, Miran Sahib with verve. A special morning assembly was organised in the august presence of the Director Mrs. Satvinder Saini, Principal Ram Prakash Sharma, School Administrator Mrs. Rama Jamwal, and Headmistress Mrs. Shweta Bakshi The portrait of Gandhiji was garlanded by the Director which was followed by the recital of the melodious bhajan Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram. Hindi poem Main Gandhi Hoon left everyone mesmerised. Addressing the staff and the students, the Director emphasised on the need to follow the path of non-violence and peace as preached by the Mahatma. The Principal paid the tribute to Gandhiji highlighting cleanliness in the surroundings.
