SIPS Celebrates Mother’s Day with Gaiety

A mother holds an unparalleled place in the heart of every human being. To acknowledge and honour the contributions of the mothers, a special assembly was organized in Stephens International Public School Miran Sahib. The students of class VIII-C commenced the programme citing the historical significance of the day which was followed by a sweet and foot-tapping song depicting the mother-child bond. This was complemented with a pulsating dance performance by the students that left everyone spellbound.
Later games and numerous fun filled activities cum competitions like art and craft, singing and dancing were carried out to treat the mothers of students of standard II who were the special guests on this occasion. Heartwarming feelings, a nostalgic outburst of emotions filled with intimacy and gratitude were witnessed as the doting mothers were seen having fun with their innocent buds. Mothers were highly appreciative of the initiative taken by the school management. Gifts and cards were given to the mothers to make the moment memorable. It was a pleasure watching tiny tots penning down their emotions in the form of colourful greeting cards designed especially for their mothers. Teachers also made an earnest effort to instill the importance of mother in a child’s life through moral stories and thematic clippings.
