SIPS Organises Teachers Training Programme on Key Principles of Teaching Methodology

Stephens International Public School, Miran Sahib organised a teachers’ training programme on key principles of teaching methodology in collaboration with Indiannica Learning Pvt. Ltd. The resource person for the day was Ms Maryann Vaisoha, Training Consultant for British Council with ELT as her core area.
Ms Vaisoha, during the session, stressed upon the need to focus on one’s strength, be a knowledge seeker and to develop lateral thinking among the learners. While interacting with the teachers she also put forward the essentials of a learner’s accomplishments provided a teacher is a guide by the side. Exploiting the potential a learner should be the goal of every educator. The charismatic effect of the triplet AVK i.e. audio, visual and kinesthetic was also talked about in the session.
Individual as well as group activities were conducted to make the session interesting wherein teachers put forward their ideas as well as queries pertaining to their classroom adaptability.
