Stephens International Public School held a joint celebration of Baisakhi and Ram Navami on their campus. A special assembly was organized to instill the traditions and values associated with the two festivals in the students.
The programme commenced with the Kanya Pujan followed by a dance performance based upon the nine manifestations of goddess Durga. A skit highlighting the vitality and significance of Baisakhi festival was also presented that met its twin objective of information as well as entertainment. The last performance of the day - Bhangra and Gidda executed to perfection by the senior students – was indeed an icing on the cake. The chief attraction, however, turned out to be the Baisakhi fair organized in the campus by the school. Students enjoyed thoroughly at the food stalls and games.
