Teaching of English at Primary Level: By Pearson

Stephens International Public School organised a workshop on English language teaching for primary teachers by Pearson on 31st December, 2018. Nearly 50 teachers attended the workshop which aimed at equipping the teachers with the new trends in English language. Mrs Shardha Anand acquainted the teachers with the innovative techniques and demonstrated how language classroom activities should be organised to promote language learning through group work, assignments, project work etc. She also discussed different categories of parents and their role in teaching, learning process. She also equipped the teachers to develop material for English language teaching for everyday classroom use and to explore ways of moving beyond the text books. She also emphasized on short and long term goals to be used to enhance teaching learning process.
