WORLD BOOK FAIR ORGANISED IN SIPS

To enhance the literary skills of the students and imbibe in them good reading habits, extravagant book fair was held at Stephens International Public School, Miran Sahib on 26th April, 2018 in the school premises. The event was graced and inaugurated by Mrs. Satvinder Saini, Director of the school, Mr. Manoj Agnihotri, Principal of the school, Mrs. Rama Jamwal, Dean Academics and Mrs. Inderjeet kour, Headmistress of the school. A wide range of books from all disciplines of education were displayed. The books were exhibited beautifully to mesmerize the students.
The junior section students were enthralled with the display of immense collection of books. They were keen to buy story books, art and craft books, cookery books, cartoon magazines and novels. The Books were sold at discounted rates which evoked a lot of curiosity among the students.
The prime motive of organizing this event was to create understanding and awareness about the prominence of reading great literary works, create passion in children for reading which will not only enhance their vocabulary but will also broaden their horizon for different aspects of life.
