GURU PURAV CELEBRATION AT STEPHENS

Stephens International Public School celebrated the Prakash Divas of Guru Gobind Singh Ji with religious fervor & gaiety. The programme began with recitation of Mool Mantra and Shabads by students and teachers. Special feature of the programme were poems & speeches by students on the life history of Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
The main motive to celebrate this day was to assert the values, morals, principles and teachings of Guru Gobind Singh Ji. The festive event commemorated with the Shabad gayan by the students of the school epitomizing their faith in the universal teachings of Guru Ji.
Inter-House ‘Dastaar Bandi’ Competition was also held on the eve of Prakash Utsav. From the Senior Category S. Sarabpreet Singh scored first position and from the Junior wing S. Anurag Singh scored first position.
The judgement was done by the panel of eminent judges. The gaiety and Sanctity of the occasion was doubled at the time of Inter House Dastaar Bandi
