GURUPURAV CELEBRATED WITH ZEAL AND FERVOR AT STEPHENS INTERNATIONAL PUBLIC SCHOOL

Keeping with the secular ethos of the school, the students of Stephens International Public School, Miransahib celebrated Gurpurab, one of the several auspicious religious festivals in Sikhism, to mark the Parkash Utsav of Guru Nanak Dev. The students of primary, middle and secondary wings prepared a medley of activities on this occasion to commemorate and remember the birth and philosophy of Guru Nanak, the first Sikh Guru and founder of Sikhism. The celebration began at 08.30AM with the enlightened thought of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, highlighting the message of brotherhood as a tribute to the Great Guru. Shabad Kirtan, chanting hymns and Prabhat feri were the main attractions of the day. Prashad was distributed to all students and staff after the function.
