STEPHENS INTERNATIONAL PUBLIC SCHOOL CELEBRATES GURU NANAK DEV JAYANTI
Stephens International Public School celebrated the 553rd birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji with zeal and enthusiasm. On this special occasion, a special assembly was held in the school where the students presented the true colours of the event. The students marked the Parkash Utsav with a series of activities where they recited poems and gave speeches. They also shared useful information related to the life and teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji besides singing Shabads and holy hymns. Finally, the Mool Mantra, ‘Ik Onkar’ was chanted by the students with spiritual bliss.
The assembly concluded with the address of the Principal Mrs. Rama Jamwal where she appreciated the performance of the young performers and encouraged them to follow upon what Guru Nanak Dev ji taught and lived for. She stressed upon the three major teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji which are Vaand Chhako, Kirat Karo and Naam Jappo.
Chairman Dr. Kamal Saini IGP (Retd.), Director Mrs. Satvinder Saini and Trustee Mr. Kunal Saini also wished the students on the pious occasion and expressed that such activities help the students disseminate the message of peace, dedication, love and sprit of brotherhood among the children.
The occasion was also attended by the Vice Principal of the school Dr.Kaajal Bhasin and Headmistress Mrs Shweta Bakshi along with all the staff members and students of SIPS.
