SIPSian Shines in National School Games

65th National School Games 2019-20 organised by Directorate of Public Instructions Chhattisgarh were held in Durg, Chhattisgarh from 12 January to 16 January 2020. Keshav Saini, a student of Stephens International Public School, Miran Sahib, Jammu represented the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and was the part of a team of 37 participants of Yongmudo Championship Boys under 17 category. Yongmudo is a modern hybrid martial art, and the main offensive and defensive techniques include throwing, grappling and ground techniques from judo, slamming and holding, kicking, striking, thrusting, punching, blocking and joint locking.
Keshav made SIPS proud by clinching bronze medal in this championship. Chairman Dr. Kamal Saini IGP (Retd.) and Director Mrs. Satvinder Saini congratulated Keshav for his stupendous achievement and wished him luck for all the future endeavours. Principal Mr. Ram Parkash Sharma also extended his heartiest congratulations to Keshav and his coach Mr. Gautam Sharma for his able guidance.
