EDUCATION GOES SMART - SMART CLASSES

Tata ClassEdge was installed in years 2017 with the aim of using technology to improve learning outcomes for children through interactive learning.

Tata ClassEdge constantly innovates in pedagogy, technology and content aimed at enhancing learning experiences. It helps teachers in effective classroom teaching through the interactive board. They have the freedom to explore its different modules such as TestEdge, PlanEdge, LabEdge & GameEdge, etc. The activity part of this interactive learning makes a greater involvement of children in this teaching-learning process and makes learning a fun. Tata ClassEdge gives freedom to teachers to add the contents to enhance the learning process.

It also leads students to enhance understanding of concepts. Tata ClassEdge is a comprehensive solution designed to assist teachers in meeting day to day classroom challenges and to meet up different IQ’s in the class. Students can be given a drill using Tata ClassEdge which will enhance academic performance with simple practical and meaningful use of technology. Smart Class helps teachers to ensure that every child in the class is learning, given the wide diversity of learning styles in the classroom.

It is also highly efficient in maintaining student's interest and boosts the confidence of the students. Smart Class simplifies the problems of teaching abstract curriculum concepts that are difficult for students to visualize or relate to through the provision of three-dimensional interactive multimedia modules. Learning how tutors assign relevant Smart Class modules to students to view either before or after a tutoring session to prepare them to concretize the learning in the session.

The well-designed modules allow a student to visualize the concepts much better than static images or oral instruction and hence improve learning greatly. Smart Class is powered by a vast repository of digital instruction materials exactly mapped to meet the specific objectives laid out by different state learning of highly animated, lesson specific, 3D and 2D multimedia modules.

 

LIBRARY-RESOURCE ROOM

The SIPS library is one of the hallmarks of the school. Stephens School The library houses a wide variety of books and journals. It serves as a storehouse of information related to prescribed textbooks and beyond.

Its purpose is to inculcate reading habit amongst students. Renowned works of fiction, classics, self-help books, science and technology periodicals, journals related to history, culture, exploration along with selected local and national dailies are housed here.

All activities in the library are carefully scanned and selected to ensure the correct development of the students. Fresh stock is added from time to time.

 

PHONETIC LAB

The Phonetic Lab was established in the year 2015. The Phonetic Lab is an audio and Audio -Visual installation used as an aid in modem English Language Teaching.

The teacher console is usually fitted with master playback source equipment, some means of monitoring of each booth in the class via teacher headset and an intercom facility offering 2-way communication between teacher and student.

Language lab is installed in the school with a motive to make students speak English in a better way. Pronunciation of each word is taken care of. The facility of language lab allows students to listen to the difficult words again and again thereby improving their communication skills. As English is a global language we want to groom students and make them face the world with confidence.

LABORATORIES

SIPS has well furnished, fully equipped Physics Lab, Chemistry Lab, Biology Lab, Computer Labs and Phonetic Labs, outfitted with all new modern facilities. We have something that even the best and most modern universities cannot boast of.

PHYSICAL HEALTH FITNESS

Physical education is given as much importance as academics. Pupils are provided ample opportunities to play a wide variety of games such as basketball, volleyball. The school has yoga and martial arts training too.

A healthy mind stays in a healthy body. A good number of health camps are introduced for proper health checkups and monitoring. Interactive sessions with trained medical professional and doctors are conducted from time to time to update our students and bring about health awareness.

SCHOOL TUCK SHOP

The school has a tuck shop (canteen) which provides wholesome and nutritious snacks and juices for the students as well as for the staff. Stephens is always concerned about the comfort and care of its staff and students.

TRANSPORTATION

School provides transport facilities to all the students from Nursery to Class XII. The transport system is hassle-free and convenient. We provide Safe and Comfortable transport that ensures more space for smaller children. This ensures comfortable, trouble-free travel and timely pickup cum drop. School transport is available at a nominal charge.

Our School provides yellow bus, door-to-door, and cab service to a variety of students attending Stephens International Public school.

SECURITY

We have a full-fledged, 24x7 security system in place on the school campus. The main entrance gate to the school and the entire periphery of the campus are manned round-the-clock by well trained security guards.

Our CCTV system monitors the campus through a large number of cameras. We ensure that children and school staff carry their ID cards while in the school.

We restrict entry into and exit from the campus through an effective system of control and we are very particular about children leaving school in the middle of a working day for pressing reasons put forth by parents/authorized guardians.
