CHAIRMAN'S MESSAGE

Stephens International Public School, Miran Sahib Jammu was born about ten years ago out of the deep- rooted concern over the general low access to quality education by local children. These concerns led me to discuss with likeminded friends on the establishment of the school. The purpose was to provide high -quality all-round education to the children with the aim of equipping them with life skills and knowledge.

To provide this quality education, a professional school advisory board, including a highly qualified team of teachers and a motivated support staff together, combined with excellent physical and academic facilities were put in place. This team works tirelessly to ensure the school, achieves its mission and vision. The vision cannot be achieved without the support of the parents and other stakeholders. Stephens International Public School was started in the year 2006 to fulfill the dream of Late Sh. Subash Saini to provide quality education to the children of the border area.

I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to all the stakeholders who have supported the school in all its endeavours since its inception nearly ten years ago. I also wish to thank the members of the parents’ committee on quality assurance, including all parents, the able team of teachers, support staff and pupils for the valuable contribution made by each one of them.

On behalf of the board of advisors, school management and the entire community of Stephens international Public School, I wish to invite comments, suggestions and any valuable contributions from our readers. This will go a long way in enabling the school achieve its board goal of improving community welfare through the provision of high- quality all-round education to the youth.
