Summer Camps :
Our young minds are provided with a comprehensive academic curriculum supported by a system of instructions that encourages the thought process and reasoning which would gear the children to be logical, analytical, critical, creative, innovative and communicative.
Every year SIPS organizes the summer camp, giving young pupils exposure to adventure activities in order to keep abreast of the best communication skills, leadership qualities in developing the overall personality of the students.
The summer camp activities include:- Martial arts training, yoga, spoken English, cooking classes, persona enhancement, dance, music, drama, defence training, painting and craft, talent search and much more...
The School lays out 'Plethora of Activities' in bringing out holistic development and latent talent in the individuals. So SIPS offers a true platform of co-curricular activities for all the students.
- Digvijay Singh Mankotia student of class 12th of SIPS and rifle shooter of J&K Rifle Association (JKRA) represented the state of J&K at the 2nd gun for Glory Shooting Championship in Pune from 12th to 19th Sep 2012, where best rifle shooters of our country were present. He took part in .177 Air Rifle in youth category and scored 378/400 in a nail -biting competition and tied for 3rd place with a shooter from Uttarakhand who also scored 378 points. This match lasted for 1 hour and 15 min and each shooter has to fire 40 shots. Digvijay has also qualified for National Shooting Championship (NSC) to be held at Delhi and National Games to be held at Kerala.
- The SIPS students Bagged 1st position in ‘Bharat Ko Jaano’ interschool quiz competition. The quiz was organized by the youth talent search forum at Dogra Hr. Sec. School, Shastri Nagar – Jammu.
- An interschool folk dance competition was being organized by YTSM at JK Montessorie School. In the competition SIPS secured the first position. Students of SIPS presented Dogri Dance item
- In CBSE Inter School Fancy Dress competition, SIPS bagged the first position in Class V category.
- SIPS clinched four prizes in the J&K Mock United Nations (JKMUN), wherein 21 teams from various reputed CBSE schools participated.
- The 6th standard students of SIPS claimed top position for interschool dance competition held at Lawrence Public School, Sidra. The competition was judged by Dr. Harish Keila, HOD all India Radio, Yashpaul Yash music composer and saini Feroz Dance Instructor.
Camps, treks and educational trips are a compulsory part of school curriculum as through these activities the school believes to inculcate a spirit of self -discipline, self- reliance and a habit of sharing and caring. From time to time, the school organizes different kinds of tours to places of historical, cultural and religious importance to familiarize the students the places of interests and importance.

The art room has an ambience which is motivating enough for the students to express their thought by drawing. Children have an inherent talent for creating something beautiful and pleasing.
Children are encouraged for Clay Modeling, Creating best Out of Waste, Art Pieces, Rangoli and Sketch Painting under professional guidance. Through art, our children are encouraged to develop their creativity and imagination. Children are encouraged to build on skills to develop their control of materials, tools and techniques.
We develop our children’s critical awareness of the roles and purposes of art, craft and design in different times and cultures. Our aim is to prepare children to become more confident in using visual and tactile elements and materials in a process to communicate what they see, feel and think.
We have a well-equipped and well-furnished Music and Dance Halls. Students are trained to learn vocal music, instrumental music. Dance and Drama add color and radiance to life.
At SIPS students are encouraged for classical and contemporary dance. The performance outputs of dance and drama rooms are the special attraction in our school functions. The students of SIPS have won many trophies in the Interschool, State and National Level Competitions.
Our emphasis on music, dancing, art and craft activity, cultural shows, public speaking, quiz competition, group discussion, calligraphy, field trips, community service, etc.to develop a spirit of creativity, joy and social responsibility among the students and moreover is an excellent academic stress buster.
Other Activities :Stephens International celebrates different occasions to give real life experience to the students and ultimately making them smarter through learning by doing.
