SIPS HOLDS DEBATE COMPETITION

Proficiency in oratory skills is an essential part of curriculum in Stephens International Public School, Miran Sahib. Numerous activities are organised from time to time to enhance the art of public speaking among the budding learners.
A debate competition was held on the topic ‘Mobile Phone-Boon or Bane’ and the students of class IV participated in it. Mrs Rama Jamwal, Dean Academics and Mr Ram Prakash Sharma, the Vice Principal and the Headmistress Mrs Shweta Bakshi graced the occasion.
The speakers displayed their rational thinking, ability to organise thoughts and persuation skill. This further inculcated relevent learning about the judicious use of mobile phones and inspired the students to be deep thinkers. Raghunandan Saini stole the show and bagged first position. Ribhanshi and Adarsh Engotra were declared second and third respectively.
